Affiliate disclosure

Some links on stackhandbook.com are affiliate links: if you sign up through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This page explains exactly where that happens and where it does not touch the data.

What commission does not affect

Prices, free-tier limits, export/API status, and every other figure in this directory come from the vendor's own pricing page, checked on the date shown. Whether a tool has an affiliate programme has no bearing on what number gets written down. Table order is alphabetical or by the criteria you choose to filter on — never by commission rate.

How a partner link is marked

Any tool with an active affiliate link shows a PARTNER badge directly under the action button, before you click — not buried in a footer. The link itself carries rel="sponsored nofollow noopener", which tells search engines the click is commercial; you won't see it, but it is there on every one.

Featured slots

A Featured slot is a paid placement. It is always labelled, it never changes a tool's data, and it never reorders the table. When featured_until passes, the label drops on its own.

Vendor-submitted data

Tools submitted by their own vendor carry a small "submitted by vendor" note on their page. Every number they send is checked against a public pricing page before it goes live — submission alone never guarantees a listing.
